Providing budget minded suggestions on preparing your home, before you list
Using my experience as a re-design consultant and having previously dealt with selling (and buying) a home, I will provide you with a list of suggestions of things to do around the house BEFORE you think of putting your home on the market. This service is different from a Staging Service since I’ll cover things like painting, minor fix-up suggestions, curb appeal and de-cluttering and how they are achievable within a short time line.
From my own experience we painted a kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a basement bathroom and kitchenette; tore up carpeting from 3 bedrooms, replaced carpeting down some stairs; laid flooring in the basement bathroom and kitchenette; changed lighting and installed GFCI plugs in the kitchens and basement bathroom; finished a closet and installed a storage unit as well as staging in a matter of 4 weeks before we received an offer on our house. Mind you this was all done while the house was on the market and receiving viewings!
Best of all, I will offer suggestions on how to achieve all this on a limited budget!
